Halifax councillors vote against motion to remove designated encampment locations

Halifax Regional Council discussed a motion, which was brought forward by newly-elected Mayor Andy Fillmore, to remove nine designated encampment sites for unhoused people. As Jake Webb reports, some councillors said the motion was premature and unnecessary.
