At least one police officer was killed and dozens of people injured in Pakistan on Monday, as supporters of jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan clashed with security forces outside the capital Islamabad, a government minister and Khan’s party said. Highways were blocked as supporters of Khan, led by members of his Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, approached the city with demands for his release.
