In Nova Scotia, voters are familiar with the PCs, Liberals and the NDP, but there’s a fourth party running this election. The Green Party of Nova Scotia is running 23 candidates, and although they historically only get a fraction of the vote, party leaders are hopeful this year will mark their entrance into the house. Plus, dozens of Fredericton residents gathered for the unveiling of a beloved downtown statue — in its new indoor home. “The Beavers” was installed in Officers’ Square in 1959 and moved as part of renovations. Now it’s in a new space — one with a strong connection to the statue’s history.
