Speaking in the House of Commons on Monday, Bloc Québécois MP Alexis Brunelle-Duceppe demanded the Liberal party share their immigration plan in the case that former U.S. president Donald Trump — who has based much of his campaign around tackling unauthorized immigration, with policy proposals like mass deportations — wins Tuesday’s presidential election. In response, Immigration Minister Marc Miller said sharing their plan would be “very irresponsible” 24 hours before the election.
