‘Pet-ition’ calls for better animal rights laws in Canada

Federal animal rights laws have become severely outdated in Canada. In response to this, MP Julie Dabrusin is introducing a “pet-ition” which would recognize animals as sentient beings. She joins Miranda Anthistle with more on this first of its kind legislation.
