Kaye Competition accepting applications for innovative health-care projects

They Kaye Competition awards $1-million a year to innovative health-care research projects at the University of Alberta Hospital. Last year, one of the projects to receive funding was Dr. Andrea Haqq’s research into how semaglutide, prescribed under the brand names Ozempic and Wegovy, affects energy expenditure in people with Type 2 diabetes and obesity.
