The first major storm of the season pummels B.C.’s South Coast, leaving one person missing in Coquitlam. On the North Shore, more than 80 homes in the Woodlands community are cut off from North Vancouver by a road washout. More than 2 million people voted in the B.C. election, setting a record for most ballots cast. The NDP won 46 ridings, the Conservatives 45, and the Green Party two.
