The Montreal SPCA had its semi-annual free adoption day on Monday, and people lined up around the block in cold, wet weather for their chance to take a new pet home. Plus, on this Thanksgiving, those who run food banks are thinking about their clients who are less fortunate. According to them, food insecurity is worse now than a year ago and they fear it could get even more challenging. And an 84-year-old Montreal-area man has translated the entire Bible into Mohawk, and it’s been making waves since it was first published last year.
