A cat shelter off the Bedford Hwy, is hoping to raise enough money to renew their lease for another year. Spay Day House held a fundraiser called ‘Thanks for Giving’ on Saturday, with the goal of adopting out twenty cats. Proceeds from the adoptions go toward keeping the space, as the need for a shelter grows due to the housing crisis. Ella Macdonald reports.
