Oct. 7 anniversary: Palestinians reflect on how Gaza has changed in past year

On the first anniversary of Oct. 7, Palestinians in Gaza reflected on how their lives have changed in the past year. “Before Oct. 7, one had dreams,” displaced Abu Hassan Shaheen said. “After 58 years of work for me, same as my father — all of it was gone to dust and rocks.”
