The Newcomer Centre has been a welcoming place for immigrants and refugees to learn how to set up a new life in Canada, to learn English and to get settled in our community. The centre is gearing up to celebrate the accomplishments of some of Edmonton’s newcomers in our community with its 19th annual Rise Awards.
