At least 24 people were killed and nearly 100 more were wounded in Israeli strikes on a mosque and school in the Gaza strip. Palestinian officials say both locations were sheltering displaced people. The Israeli military claims it targeted Hamas militants that were using the Ibn Rushd School and Shuhada al-Aqsa Mosque in Deir al Balah as command-and-control centres.
