Hurricane Helene: How this ‘monster’ storm got so bad, so fast

Hurricane Helene has left much of the southeastern U.S. reeling after it carved its way through parts of Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and several other states, and has some asking how the storm got so bad, so fast. As Sean Previl explains, there were multiple factors that came into play not only before the storm even formed but even as it moved inland and started losing strength.
