Alberta municipalities pushing back on provincial ban of electronic tabulators

A resolution in front of delegates at this year’s Alberta Municipalities meeting in Red Deer seeks a reconsideration of a provincial ban on electronic tabulators to count votes in next year’s municipal elections. As Adam MacVicar reports, municipal officials say the ban will add costs and delays to getting results.
