‘There’s more work to do’: Trudeau reacts after Liberal stronghold lost in Montreal byelection

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau reacted Monday after suffering another devastating byelection blow, with the loss of LaSalle-Émard—Verdun to the Bloc Québécois. “There’s more work to do,” Trudeau said, while adding that people need to “understand what’s at stake” in the upcoming election. He said it “would have been nicer” to hold the former Liberal stronghold.
