Poilievre and Conservatives focus on appealing to workers as parliament returns

In Ottawa, things are looking up for Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre and his MPs who held their caucus retreat Sunday. The Conservatives wrapped up the summer flush with cash and well ahead in the polls. And as they prepare for Parliament’s return Monday, they’re aiming to win over more working Canadians by taking a more a more labour-and union-friendly approach. David Akin explains.
