Major construction union calls for temporary foreign worker program pause

The International Painters and Allied Trades Union says some employers are abusing a system meant to help fill gaps in Canada’s job market. They point to a man who came to B.C. as a painter under Canada’s temporary foreign worker program, but alleges that once he got here, the deal was not what was promised. Angela Jung reports.
