Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, speaking in Winnipeg, criticized Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre and his stance on labour action, saying “He’s a phony. He thinks you’re all suckers….scared of what workers can accomplish when they organize.” Trudeau emphasized the Liberal government’s commitment to empowering workers, stating, “We’re not scared by unions. As soon as we took office, we repealed the Conservative bills 377 and 525.”
