Global Affairs Canada defends purchase of $9M New York City condo, says it will save tax payers money

The skyscrapers on New York City’s ‘Billionaires’ Row’ are a long way from a committee room in Ottawa, but Canada’s representative in New York City, Consul General Tom Clark, has agreed to appear at the committee to explain why his new address comes with a $9 million price tag.
