In Ukraine, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with President Volodymr Zelenskyy in what is the first visit by an Indian leader to the country since it left the Soviet Union. Just last month, Zelenskyy criticized Modi for hugging Russian President Vladmir Putin in Moscow on the day Russia bombed a Ukrainian children’s hospital. As Redmond Shannon reports, both Moscow and Kyiv are courting the support of emerging world powers like India.
