BC United promise to eliminate provincial income tax on first $50K earned

It’s mid-August. The weather is a little cooler — the leaves are starting to turn — and leaders of the provincial parties are ramping up their campaign ahead of this fall’s election. BC United leader Kevin Falcon laid out a significant policy announcement Tuesday, promising to cut income tax. But as Richard Zussman reports, the money has to come from somewhere else.
