Frankie’s World Rat Rescue changing minds and sharing knowledge about the underappreciated rat

For some, or many, it may come as a surprise to hear rats referred to as “pocket puppies”, but those who care for these creatures say it’s an accurate description. And while rats do form strong bonds with humans, they’re under-appreciated for their immense contributions to our world of medicine. In this edition of Happy Tails: Canadian Animal Rescue Stories, we get a glimpse into Frankie’s World – a rat rescue based in Parry Sound and Burlington, Ontario that’s sharing knowledge and changing minds about rats.
