Woman credits self-defence training in surviving Comox Valley attack

A Comox Valley woman says she was attacked by a man while closing her front gate at her rural Courtenay home. Maria Hansen says if it wasn’t for her self-defence training, she’s not sure what would have happened. Kylie Stanton has more on how the community is now beefing up its self-defense classes.
