Montreal’s housing market due to pick up after two successive rate cuts

Fresh off the heels of the interest rate cut announced yesterday by the Bank of Canada, Montrealers are getting their mortgage calculators out. Realtors believe the lending rate reduction to 4.5 per cent is set to bring some people back into the property market. As Tim Sargeant reports, a housing market rebound may be on the cards.
