Bangladesh Supreme Court strikes down government job quotas after deadly student protests

After student-led protests, Bangladesh’s Supreme Court has ruled to eliminate most of the quotas on government jobs. At least 114 people have lost their lives in the violent demonstrations that erupted over the job-reservation system.
