A pedestrian was taken to hospital after being struck by a car on Sunday morning in Peterborough. Emergency crews were called to the area of Clonsilla Avenue and Goodfellow Road around 8:30 a.m.
Paramedics treated the 72-year-old pedestrian at the scene before taking them to hospital for further treatment.
The occupants of the car were not hurt.
Peterborough police say a 76-year-old driver was charged with failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
