Body of swimmer recovered from Otonabee River in Peterborough, Ont.

A search on Tuesday recovered the body of a swimmer who was reported missing on the Otonabee River in Peterborough, Ont., on Monday.
Emergency crews responded to the river near Lansdowne Street around 6:30 p.m. for reports of two people in the water. One person reportedly got out safe, however, another went back underneath the water.
Police on Tuesday say the OPP’s dive team located the body of a 23-year-old Peterborough man.
