Hundreds filled the streets of Downtown St. John’s to mark a somber homecoming on Monday, as Newfoundland’s unknown solider who died in World War One was finally laid to rest. In Fredericton, residents hit the streets in all red on Monday, as hundreds celebrated Canada Day by taking part in many activities being offered throughout the city. And in Moncton, a pedestrian is dead after being struck by a train in the city’s downtown area.
