What was supposed to be a routine debate about city planning and the pros and cons of the ideas on the table turned into something unusual at Edmonton city hall. Conspiracy theories took the spotlight during discussion about the concept of “15-minute cities.” The proposal would see essential services available close to where people live, but some are convinced the city wants to restrict where people could go.
