On Thursday, Ontario Liberal party leader Bonnie Crombie criticized Premier Doug Ford’s administration, accusing him of prioritizing the interests of his friends over the needs of Ontarians. Crombie stated, “From the snap closure of the Ontario Science Centre to the selling off of Ontario Place to the green belt giveaway, Ford has consistently put friends first and the people of Ontario last.” She vowed to appoint a special investigator within her first 30 days as Premier to probe into what she described as “shady backroom deals” within the Ford government.
