National Indigenous Peoples Day: Lack of action on issues frustrates Canada’s Indigenous peoples

This year, the backdrop of Canada’s National Indigenous Peoples Day includes an intended apology by the federal government for the systemic harm inflicted on Indigenous families by the child welfare system.
