Speaking at the NATO Defence Ministers meeting in Brussels, Belgium on Friday, Defence Minister Bill Blair said Canada has promised to bolster NATO’s eastern flank in Latvia to aid Ukraine in its defence against Russia. Part of the assistance also includes donating 900 Canadian military drones to Ukraine. Blair also commented on other Canadian defence initiatives, including spending targets.
