Quebec’s strawberry season has officially kicked off and the hot, sunny weather means local farmers can harvest the sweet fruit earlier than usual. But if you’ve picked some up at a grocery store lately, you may have noticed that Quebec strawberries are currently more expensive than those imported south of the border. Why is that?
