Foreign interference: Freeland mum on why politicians not named in NSICOP report

Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland was asked why the federal government isn’t releasing the names of the politicians in the National Security and Intelligence Committee of Parliamentarians’ (NSICOP) report involved in knowingly engaging with hostile nations in the foreign interference of the Canadian government. Freeland deflected the question, but said regardless of the interference, she believes Canadians still have confidence in our democracy.
