A team of scientists from Dalhousie University is working alongside field researchers in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and they’ve discovered a new strain of mpox (formerly known as monkeypox). Unlike typical strain, this one can spread among individuals through community contact. Ella MacDonald reports.
