Trudeau says Poilievre would rather ‘watch Canadians suffer’ than fight climate change

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau responded to Conservative Party of Canada Leader Pierre Poilievre’s call to suspend all gas and diesel tax from Victoria Day to Labour Day during a news conference in New Brunswick on Thursday. “His ideology is so strong he would rather watch the country burn and Canadians suffer than continue to fight against climate change,” Trudeau exclaimed.
