Farmers stage protest at grand opening of a section of rail trail in the North Okanagan.

That grand opening of that section of the Rail Trail was also well attended by the local farming community. Farmers who live along what will be a new rail trail raising concerns about access to their land. They are against being issued permits to access their properties because as Klaudia Van Emmerik reports–they want something more permanent in place.
