Alberta government tables legislation with new rules around municipalities

Albertans could soon see municipal candidates running under party banners in the next election after new provincial legislation was tabled. As Adam MacVicar reports, it’s part of a package that overhauls rules around local elections and introduces powers that the province says would hold councils accountable.
