Organizers of a re-branded Montreal Caribbean carnival have released more details about this summer’s festivities. The new group behind the celebration says Carimas, as it’s now called, already has several groups committed to participating. They see the event as the first step towards reviving the carnival as one of the biggest Caribbean festivals in North America. Global’s Phil Carpenter reports.
