Students from Macdonald High School crowned winners of 2024’s Battle of the Books

High schools from several Montreal-area school boards and the Quebec Association of Independent Schools participated in the 2024 Battle of the Books competition. Students from Macdonald High School took home the top prize, while students from Royal West Academy and Hebrew Academy also made it to the final round. Global’s own Gloria Henriquez read one of the questions. Organizers say the event not only encourages reading but also celebrates it.
