Conservative Party of Canada Leader Pierre Poilievre spoke Tuesday morning, just hours before the Liberal government was to unveil its 2024 budget, and quoted former Bank of Canada governor David Dodge, who said this budget was tracking to be the worst since 1982. Poilievre said it was time for Justin Trudeau’s Liberals to, “Stop. Stop doubling housing costs. Stop taxing our farmers and food.”
