Fear of neglect, judgment and abuse are just some of the factors discouraging many Indigenous patients from seeking help. Native Montreal is opening a culturally safe family clinic for the Indigenous community. It’s the first of its kind in the city but more are in the works. As Global’s Matilda Cerone reports, the project is considered revolutionary for Quebec’s health-care system.
