New York earthquake: Mayor confirms no injuries after 4.8 magnitude quake hits city

On Friday morning, April 5, an earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale hit near New York City, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. Mayor Eric Adams of New York City stated that there were no reports of injuries.
