Business Matters: No April Fools’ joke as carbon tax and rebate hikes take effect

Starting April 1, it’s going to cost 3.3 cents per litre more to fill your vehicle with gas. This comes as the national price on pollution rises $15 per tonne across Canada — except in British Columbia, Quebec and the Northwest Territories.
