Haiti crisis: Surge in gang violence, food insecurity envelopes nation

The United Nations has a blunt warning about the situation in Haiti, and is calling for immediate and bold action to fight what it is calling a worsening catastrophe. The surge in gang violence has brought with it a surge in hunger. Close to five million people — nearly half of Haiti’s population — now faces food insecurity. Mike Armstrong reports.
