Alberta animal rescues seek community support amid parvovirus outbreak

It’s a difficult time for rescues in the Edmonton area as more and more animals are being surrendered or abandoned. Many of the animals brought in are suffering from several medical problems — a very common one is parvovirus. Krista Atmore and Nicole Guinan with Alberta Homeward Hound Rescue, and Dr. Julianne Wilson with Pulse Veterinary, joined us on Global News Morning to talk about how you can help other animals like foster pup Eric.
