Questions remain after a man with a history of mental illness and violence was released on probation and accused of going on an assault spree and stabbing one person. At a press conference on Thursday, Global News asked Chief Const. Adam Palmer why suspects with a history of violence are being released if there are concerns they pose a risk to the public.
