The Government of Alberta says it’s taking steps to protect seniors who sign life lease contracts, after families complained about not getting their entrance fees back when their contact was terminated. But as Sarah Ryan explains, seniors advocates say the new legislation won’t do anything to help those who already signed on the dotted line.
