India has recently blocked an episode of CBC’s ‘The Fifth Estate’ on YouTube about the June 2023 killing of B.C. Sikh activist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. Asked about India’s request to block the episode, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said on Thursday that while every country has different approaches to freedom of expression, he believes people should have access to information.
