Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said on Wednesday that the federal government is “rethinking” the way the public service handles procurement and contracting in the wake of the ArriveCAN scandal and firings in the Auditor General’s office. He added that Canadians should be able to expect their government be a “responsible steward” of taxpayer money.
